<aside> 💡 NEW! Quick! Before you do anything else: The official TAG Negotiations Committee Interest Form is officially open!

This is in part thanks to everyone who emailed Steve Kaplan with their interest, everyone who spoke up at committee meetings, and everyone who organized to show that TAG members are eager to participate and work for better conditions!

“I don’t have time to join the negotiations committee…” TAG Members are Too Overworked to Organize

Many of us are reporting working 7 days a week for jobs that are hourly, not salaried.

And it’s working.

But one sentiment is the same across every single union member we speak to:

“I want to strike.“

Members like you are tired. Our membership is smart. We know instinctively that no effort short of a strike will be drastic enough to push for even some of the changes we need.

There is no bad faith in planning for a strike- only a deep understanding of how bad things have gotten for TAG members.

So how do we do it?

But not everyone can join a negotiations committee… right?

Okay, you’ve convinced me. What do I need to do?

Just remember…

If you are scared of taking action, so are your fellow workers. But we are all in this together. So think of how you can take small, incremental steps, and find ways to make you and your fellow workers feel more confident.
